Environmental usage conditions:
a. The altitude of the area of use shall not exceed 1000m.
b. The ambient temperature in the area of use: -40~+45 ℃.
c. The place of use should be free from severe mechanical vibration, harmful gases and vapors, and conductive or explosive dust.
4.2 Other usage conditions:

1. Product Description:

SCPI series protection unit is a special protection unit designed for reactive power compensation device of high voltage shunt capacitor. Based on microprocessor technology development and development, through continuous real-time sampling of each electrical parameter related to capacitor operation, through logical analysis, judge the running condition of the capacitor. When the abnormity is detected, the capacitor can be removed in time or the upward control system can alarm, so as to ensure the safe operation of the capacitor.

2. Protection project

Undervoltage protection: when the bus voltage is lower than the undervoltage set value and reach the set delay time;
Overvoltage protection: when the bus voltage is higher than the overvoltage set value and reach the set delay time;
Harmonic protection: when the total harmonic distortion rate of the busbar voltage exceeds the harmonic protection set value and reach the set delay time;
Overcurrent protection: when the current of the capacitor bank exceeds the overcurrent set value and reach the set delay time;
◆ quick-break protection: when the current of the capacitor bank exceeds the quick-break setting value and reaches the set delay time (two-stage overcurrent);
◆ Open triangle voltage protection: when the open triangle zero sequence voltage value of the single star connection exceeds the set value and reaches the set delay time;
◆ Unbalanced current protection at the center: when the unbalanced current at the center of the double star connection exceeds the set value and reaches the set delay time;
Phase difference voltage protection: provides three groups (three-phase) unbalanced voltage protection. When the differential voltage of any phase exceeds the set value and reaches the set delay time, the protection action.
Bridge differential current protection: provides three groups (three-phase) unbalanced current protection. When the bridge difference current of any phase exceeds the set value and reaches the set delay time, the protection action.
Protection occurs when the outlet relay operates, excises the capacitor, or notifies the upper control system. For details, see the Protection section below.

4. Installation size:

SCPI is mounted on cabinet body, and its appearance is shown in Figure 1. Size: 160mm wide, 80mm high, product body 95.5mm deep.
During installation, cut holes on the mounting plane in advance, as shown in Figure 2.
