1 Product use and characteristics
The GWBJ pole-mounted high-voltage reactive power automatic compensation device (hereinafter referred to as the device) is suitable for 10kV and 6kV power distribution overhead lines. It can provide reasonable reactive power compensation, reduce line loss, increase power factor, and improve voltage quality; it can also be used for miniaturization 10kV or 6kV reactive power compensation for terminal substation.
This device complies with JB/T10558-2006 "Pole-mounted high-voltage reactive power compensation device", DL/T604-1996 "High-voltage shunt capacitor device ordering technical conditions" and other standards.
This device can be set according to actual needs, and users can set parameters by themselves. The controller in the device monitors the reactive power and voltage status of the line in real time, and judges and analyzes according to the set reactive power and voltage control strategy to realize the high-voltage parallel capacitor bank Automatic switching. At the same time, this device has complete protection functions, such as busbar short-circuit and quick-break protection, capacitor short-circuit short-time protection, capacitor over-current short-time protection, over-voltage protection, under-voltage protection, phase loss protection (optional when ordering) and Rejection protection and other functions, as well as meter reading function.
The vacuum contactor used in this device fully meets the requirements of the national standard GB7675-87 for capacitor switching, and has the characteristics of good contact opening and closing characteristics, strong arc extinguishing ability, and long life. The high-voltage parallel capacitor contains internal discharge resistance and is equipped with an external drop-out fuse, which is safe and reliable. The outdoor high-voltage capacitor automatic controller is selected, which has strong anti-interference ability, complete functions and excellent quality.
This device is an outdoor integrated box structure, easy to install and simple to maintain.

2 Conditions of use
2.1 Altitude: not higher than 1000m;
2.2 Wind speed: not more than 35m/s;
2.3 Earthquake: The earthquake intensity does not exceed 8 degrees;
2.4 Sunshine: the maximum amplitude is 0.1w/cm2;
2.5 Ambient air temperature: upper limit +45℃, lower limit -40℃;
2.6 Installation site: no harmful gases and vapors, no conductive or explosive dust;
2.7 The installation inclination does not exceed 5 degrees.

4. Structure and working principle

4.1 This device is composed of drop-out fuse, zinc oxide arrester, voltage transformer type power transformer, capacitor switching special high-voltage vacuum contactor, current transformer, high-voltage parallel capacitor, outdoor high-voltage capacitor automatic control device and cabinet. 4.2 Working Principle Figure 1 shows the electrical schematic diagram of a single group of capacitors for reference. For details, please refer to the random information of the product. WZK is an automatic controller that continuously measures the voltage of the UV phase (TVB) and the system current (TA1) of the W phase to obtain the voltage level, power factor and reactive power demand of the system, and according to the set control strategy, through KM vacuum The contactor controls the input and removal of the capacitor.

4.3 Secondary wiring
Figure 2 is the secondary wiring diagram of the specifications of a single group of capacitors, for reference, and the details should be based on the materials attached with the product.
SB1 and SB2 are manual operation buttons, WZK-1 and WZK-2 are switching control contacts provided by WZK. When SB1 or WZK-1 is closed, KM pulls in and the capacitor is switched on; when SB2 or WZK-2 is disconnected, KM is released and the capacitor is cut off. CTa and CTc collect the current of the capacitor, monitor the input of the capacitor and detect whether the capacitor is faulty.
HXD is a throw-in indicator light, and LXD is a cut-off indicator light. It is located at the lower part of the device for easy observation by ground personnel.

4.4 Main electrical equipment
4.4.1 Capacitor
This device uses the BFM or BAM full-film high-voltage shunt capacitor produced by our company, and the capacitor has a built-in discharge resistance.
Note: Although the capacitor charge has been discharged to below 50V through the discharge resistance after the capacitor is out of operation for 5 minutes, you can still not touch the capacitor with your hands. Instead, use a ground rod with an insulated handle to short the two terminals of the capacitor to discharge. The capacitor can be touched only after the terminal is reliably grounded.

4.4.2 Indoor AC high voltage vacuum contactor
AC high-voltage vacuum contactor is a new generation of capacitor switching equipment, its technical indicators meet the requirements of the national standard GB7675-87 "AC high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker opening and closing capacitor bank test", and have a long life, up to 200,000 times under rated current. This is very important for frequent switching when used for reactive power compensation.

If the user needs, it can also choose sulfur hexafluoride load switch or column vacuum switch.
4.4.3 Outdoor high-voltage capacitor automatic control device
WZK outdoor high-voltage capacitor automatic controller is realized by microcomputer technology, through real-time sampling of system voltage and system current, automatic switching capacitors according to time, voltage, power factor and their combination strategies, the switching range can be set by the user according to the actual situation of the line , In order to achieve the best compensation effect. At the same time, the automatic controller is equipped with over-voltage protection, under-voltage protection, over-current protection and delay functions, and its setting value can be set according to needs. The auto-controller will lock itself when there is an over-current trip due to the internal failure of the capacitor. The controller can record events and is equipped with a communication interface to communicate with external smart devices in a wired or wireless manner.

4.4.4 Zinc oxide arrester
HY5WS zinc oxide lightning arrester is used for lightning overvoltage protection, used to protect the control power transformer and vacuum contactor. HY5WR Zinc Oxide Lightning Arrester is used for capacitor protection and is used for over-voltage protection.

4.4.5 Voltage transformer type transformer

The component provides low-voltage operating power and doubles as a voltage transformer to provide line voltage sampling. The transformation ratio is 10/0.22kV or 6/0.22kV, and the accuracy is level 1.

4.4.6 Drop-out fuse

RW10-10F drop-out fuse, creepage distance ≥25mm/KV, rated breaking capacity is 100MVA. The fuse is a new type "T" melt promoted by the Ministry of Resources, which has excellent fusing characteristics. The rated current of the fuse should not be less than 1.5 times the rated current of the device, but it should not be too large. It should meet the following requirements: According to the maximum short-circuit current at the installation location, check the ampere/sec characteristic curve of the fuse, and its fusing time should be less than 0.15 seconds.

4.4.7 Current transformer (for power factor sampling)

The LZKW-10 current transformer is delivered with a power-frequency withstand voltage of 35kV and passed in 1 minute (American National Standard). The transformer has a reasonable structure and high measurement accuracy. Easy installation and long service life.
