1. Product use

The capacitors in this manual are suitable for controllable or adjustable AC voltage systems with a nominal voltage of not more than 4kV and a frequency of 50kHz and below. They are specifically used to improve induction heating, melting, stirring or casting devices, and similar applications. Indoor capacitor units and capacitor banks for power factor or loop characteristics.

 

2. Product structure

2.1 The capacitor is mainly composed of a shell, a wiring guide rod and a core.

2.2 The shell is formed by bending and welding aluminum plates. The shell is equipped with a capacitor core, which is filled with insulating oil with excellent electrical performance. The two ends of the shell are welded with brackets for installation and lifting. The shell cover is equipped with a silicone rubber seal and porcelain sleeve support The wiring guide rod.

2.3 The capacitor core consists of several components, which are assembled into a whole through insulating gaskets, splints, etc. in the manner specified by the design, and the cooling water pipe is directly welded to the component plates.

 

3. Conditions of Use

3.1 The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 1000m.

3.2 Indoor air temperature range -40~+45℃.

3.3 The remaining voltage when re-energized does not exceed 10% of the rated voltage.

3.4 The inlet pressure of the cooling water should not exceed 0.4Mpa, the inlet water temperature should not exceed 30℃, the cooling water flow should not be less than 6L/min, the cooling water should be soft water without impurities, and the PH value should be 6-9.

 

4. Main technical performance and data

4.1 Product Standard

GB/T3984.1 Power Capacitors for Induction Heating Devices Part 1 General Rules (equivalent to adopting IEC60110.1 Power Capacitors for Induction Heating Devices Part 1 General Rules).

4.2 Capacitor terminals (between poles) can withstand a power frequency test voltage of 2.0UN for 10s.

4.3 For capacitors whose terminals are insulated from the shell, the power frequency test voltage of 2.15UN minimum of 2000V between the terminal and the shell should last 10s.

4.4 Range of capacitance deviation: not more than -5%~+10% of rated value.

4.5 Under the rated power frequency voltage, the capacitor loss tangent value (tgδ) should not be greater than 0.0008

4.6 Overload: Capacitors can operate continuously at rated voltage and 1.15 times of rated current, and at the same time can operate at 1.05 times of rated voltage for no more than 12 hours per 24 hours.
